Parker Damanik was born in Medan on November 3, 1953. He currently resides in Bekasi, West Java, and serves as a Commissioner at PT Tala Re International. With more than 40 years of experience in the insurance industry, he is recognized as a seasoned professional with deep expertise in marketing, finance, and corporate governance.

His career began in 1980 as Head of Production Unit at Central Asia Raya. Over the years, Parker advanced his career in several leading insurance companies, including PT Asuransi Bintang as Head of Sales, PT Asuransi Jiwa Ulindo as Agency Manager, and later taking on key leadership roles at PT Asuransi Puri Asih where he led various branches. He then progressed to hold strategic executive positions as Marketing Director and Operations Director at several major insurance firms, before being appointed Commissioner at PT Tala Re International in 2013, a role he continues to hold today.

In addition to his professional career, Parker has actively participated in numerous training programs and seminars on management, workplace relations, and taxation. He has strong expertise in finance and accounting, as well as solid knowledge of taxation.
